In this critical role, you will standardize and harmonize cost accounting processes across US sites, driving business growth through financial expertise and process improvements.Job Summary: We seek an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to lead the standardization of cost accounting processes, ensure accurate product costing and analysis, and provide financial insights to key stakeholders. As a Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate with Production Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT to drive business decisions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Standardize cost accounting processes across US sites
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Analyze manufacturing variances and recommend corrective actions
  • Create and maintain reporting packages to support business needs
  • Collaborate with IT to maintain financial controls and master data within SAP
  • Lead financial presentations and meetings
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • 15+ years of costing experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Proven track record of implementing process improvements in cost accounting
    • In-depth knowledge of cost accounting, ERP systems, and reporting tools
    • Advanced Excel, analytical, and modeling skills
    • SAP experience
    • Knowledgeable with GAAP accounting
    • Ability to work past normal business hours and travel to KARL STORZ US locations as needed Preferred Qualifications:
      • Exposure to lean manufacturing
