Job Description:
Do you have expertise in managing a portfolio of accounts,
ensuring effective collection efforts to maximize cash flow and
minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)? Are you a strong
communicator, organized, and have keen problem-solving skills? If
so, KARL STORZ is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit &
Collections Specialist to join our team.You will play a crucial
role in meeting departmental goals and maintaining strong customer
relationships. We are looking for a motivated professional with a
strong background in collections for this hybrid role, which offers
the opportunity to work remotely 3 days a week. What you'll be
doing:
- Manage and collect on a portfolio of outstanding receivables,
minimizing losses, and adhering to company policies.
- Proactively contact customers to address past due balances and
keep them informed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all collection
activities.
- Provide customer service related to collections, including
refunds, account adjustments, and credit line increases.
- Resolve disputes, unapplied payments, and account holds using
sound judgment.
- Escalate uncollectible accounts as per departmental policies
and prepare write-off packages for third-party agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and
external customers.
- Analyze portfolio data and participate in projects aimed at
process improvement. What you need to be considered for the role:
- 2-3 years of collections experience required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in
lieu of degree.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Word and
Excel.
- Strong B2B collections experience and excellent customer
service skills.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume
environment.
- Strong sense of urgency and focus on customer satisfaction. Who
