Job Description:

AFE Sports is looking for a Light-Duty Mechanic. With the Supervision of the Master Mechanic to assist in the performance of a wide variety of maintenance and repair as needed; light to heavy-duty trucks and vaious on-off road heavy equipment. Respond to emergency service calls for service on construction sitesas needed. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and or move items over 50 pounds. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Trouble shoot day to day questions/problems regarding all equipment Use hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment Perform Preventative Maintenance service to gasoline and dielsel powered vehicles and heavy equipment General shop up keep Pick up and deliver parts as needed Basic Qualificaitons: Kowledge of some diesel maintenance Ability to understand and follow instrucitons Basic Knowledge of automotive parts and systems Knowledge of safe work practices Two years relevant to work experience California Driver's License, must have for 3 years Spanish a plus, but not a must Commercial Driver's Class A not reqired but a plus Must have own tools Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $25 - $35 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
