Our busy law office is in search of a personal injury case manager to oversee all aspects of case management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, and experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing personal injury case files. Responsibilities:

--- Conduct legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, social security, medical records, and medical providers
--- Maintain and organize all case files, and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies
--- Aid attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as requested
--- Provide recommendations to attorneys with regard to cost and time-effective ways to accomplish the client's goals
--- Update clients and outside counsel on case status as requested


Qualifications:

--- Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated
--- Legal research and legal document drafting experience is critical
--- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software
--- Previous case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency
--- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable - High school diploma is required
