We have an immediate need for a direct hire AVP - Master Data Management (MDM) Platform Specialist.
Location: Los Angeles California
This Job Pays:$135,000 - $150,000 annually plus benefits
Overview: -The AVP - MDM Platform Specialist plays a critical role within the Information Technology department, responsible for overseeing the Semarchy xDM platform to drive efficient data management and governance across the global enterprise. This role serves as the technical product owner, managing the platform's lifecycle and supporting the strategic vision for MDM processes.
Responsibilities

• 
  
• Define and manage the product roadmap and backlog to support business growth and strategic objectives.
  
• Lead solution architecture development on the Semarchy xDM platform, ensuring alignment with data governance standards.
  
• Act as the primary liaison with vendors, handling product enhancement requests, contract management, and licensing.
  
• Oversee project execution, including budgeting, forecasting, and coordinating stakeholder requirements.
  
• Facilitate UAT, training, and status reporting to ensure clear communication and smooth implementation.
  
• Conduct business analysis to document requirements, current/future processes, and transform them into actionable stories within an agile scrum model.
  
• Perform root cause analysis, user story review, and backlog refinement to optimize platform enhancements and project efficiency.
  
  Required Skills/Experience
  
  • 
    
  • 5-8 years as a Technical Product Owner or MDM Platform Lead with expertise in MDM solution design, data integration, and data governance.
    
  • In-depth knowledge of MDM concepts, data modeling, data quality, and data governance.
    
  • Proficiency in data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and data matching techniques.
    
  • Solid experience with project management, including tools, methodologies, and SDLC best practices.
    
  • Familiarity with large-scale technology implementations, system integrations, and custom development.
    
  • Preferred experience with Semarchy xDM or similar platforms (Informatica, Reltio, Profisee, SAP MDG).
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field; relevant certifications (Scrum Product Owner/Scrum Master) are a plus.
