Job Description:

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Pharmacist to work remotely in California.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with coordinators and nurses to process referrals and perform clinical assessments
Evaluate and review prior authorization requests, rendering coverage determinations based on clinical criteria
Handle inbound and outbound communications with healthcare providers and patients regarding prior authorizations

Required Qualifications

Pharm D
2+ years of experience as a Prior Authorization pharmacist
Experience using clinical resources such as Micromedex and Lexicomp
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills with a strong detail orientation
