Job Description:

Responsibilities
?Provide hands on support and full generalist expertise in all
areas of HR including recruitment; new hire on-boarding and
orientation; employee and labor relations; HRIS; performance
management; training; benefits and employee communications.
?Implement recruitment strategies for exempt and non-exempt
professionals, develop advertisements and utilize various sources
such as colleges, newspapers and online job boards.
?Manage staffing administration; ensure compliance with all state
and federal discrimination and employment regulations.
?Manage new hire orientation by explaining benefits and
organization information and securing relevant employee
paperwork.
?Conduct employee benefits enrollment meetings to educate and
inform staff of the details or changes in their health benefits
plan and assist with enrollment questions and the open enrollment
processes.
?Support the HR Director on the management of COBRA enrollments,
Workers Compensation, FMLA and 401k retirement plans.
?Responsible for employee relations such as performance
evaluations, terminations, workers comp claims, etc.
Requirements
?Bilingual Spanish is a must! no exceptions
?A minimum of 3-5 years of prior Human Resources experience
?A minimum of 2-3 years? experience as an HR Generalist. Experience
in a manufacturing environment a plus.
?Outstanding knowledge of California Labor Laws
?Highly effective verbal and written presentation skills including
ability to draft communications, reports and charts
?Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to
collaborate with all levels of the organization
?Extremely organized and able to multi-task.
?High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in
conjunction with day-to-day activities
?Exceptional ability to work proactively and take initiative
