• Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Certificate via ASHA

  • Job Details
  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Speech Therapist for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS and CA License.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 full years of experience as a Speech Therapist
    • Active BLS certification
    • Active California state license
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts vary depending on needs at the time; sometimes Wed-Sun or Thu-Mon
      • Shifts are typically 8 hours with varying start times
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Speech
        • # patients treated per day varies by assigned area
        • Outpatient: up to 9 per day, Inpatient: up to 13 per day
        • Coverage for areas assigned to and may float to other areas
        • 1.5 days of orientation to job and unit, including Cerner training if needed
        • Common diagnoses/patient types include stroke, TBI, neuro trauma, cognitive impairments, difficulties swallowing
          • Additional Details
          • Candidates with travel experience are preferred
          • Trauma experience is preferred
          • Candidates with inpatient clinical experience may be considered without the full year of experience
