About The Butcher's Daughter - VeniceThe Butcher's Daughter - Venice is a vibrant vegetarian restaurant with a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an experienced team member to join our team as a Host and Barista.Responsibilities:

• Host: Greet and seat guests, present menus, and inform them of special catches and soups.
• Treat guests with excellent service, striving to exceed their expectations.
• Manage the waiting list and run the floor plan board.
• Keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
• Quote wait times accurately to guests.
• Clean and stock menus at the host/market area.
• Answer phone calls and questions about the menu and restaurant.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.Barista:
  • 1+ years of experience as a barista.
  • Coffee-making, latte art, and tea-making experience.Requirements:
    • Experience in a high-volume environment.
    • Barista experience is required (minimum 1 year).
    • Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred.
    • Detail-oriented, neat, self-motivated, and a team player.
    • Ability to support the floor staff in setting tables and supporting service.
    • Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
    • Flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays).
    • Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
    • Proficient or ability to learn computer skills including POS systems, OpenTable, Word, and Excel.
    • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.This is an ideal position for someone who is dedicated to providing great service and is seeking to become a member of a hard-working and fun team.
