16:00 (PST), Monday-FridayDEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONUW Medicine IT
Services (ITS) is a shared services organization that supports all
of UW Medicine. ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and
maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support
all these institutions, along with the implementation of new
services and applications that are used to support and further the
UW Medicine mission.POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing the role of technical lead on project teams
- Guiding production, development, testing, and training
environments
- Providing primary support of enterprise servers at UW
Medicine
- Providing operational, technical, and administrative elements
that ensure the availability, reliability, security, and
performance of the servers necessary to support the needs of the
business
- Maintaining a high-level of technical competency, providing
documentation, being a team participant, contributing effectively
to projects, and conducting themselves in a professional
manner
- Training and mentoring other team membersREQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination
of education/experience
- 5+ years of experience should include:
- 6+ years of progressively responsible systems administration,
analysis, and programming experience on a broad range of
platforms
- 4+ years of progressive technical experience in Windows systems
administration, troubleshooting, maintenance-related programming,
and production support
- Extensive experience working with teams in the development and
support of applications
- Extensive communication skills and ability to work with
personnel of various levels of technical background
- Extensive experience participating in IT projects
