(PPMO) is responsible for the overall direction and management of
project and program portfolios, optimization of investments and
resources on projects, informing the strategic direction for
campus-wide implementation, coordination, business analysis,
systems analysis, ROI reporting, as well as delivery of agreed
small, medium, and exceptionally large and complex IT
projects.Reporting to the Portfolio and Project Management Office,
and assigned to various teams across the department, the Project
Manager will manage multiple technical projects in support of
campus-wide IT initiatives and work collaboratively on
cross-functional teams to meet strategic objectives. This position
will work on a selection of projects across the realms of academic
and business systems, and large-scale administrative systems and
efforts.Involves managing technical projects having a defined
beginning and end. Applies standard Project Management framework
processes and methodologies to lean project efforts involving
departmental or cross-functional teams. Plans, coordinates and
monitors scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks,
risks, staff and deliverables. Monitors the project from initiation
through completion. Organizes and leads activities relating to the
management and completion of projects.Applies skills as a seasoned,
experienced technical project management professional with a full
understanding of project management frameworks and methods,
relevant policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues.
Demonstrates competency in selecting methods and techniques to
obtain solutions. Manages projects of diverse scope, size, impact,
budget and / or project team size.Additionally, applies advanced
business process and analysis concepts and organizational
objectives to resolve highly complex issues where analysis of
situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable
factors. Selects methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to
