This is a hands-on technical role on a multi-disciplinary team. The qualified candidate will work within a small team of developers in creating, deploying, and sustaining a test/support platform, in addition to hands on design/coding and software/hardware integration and troubleshooting.The qualified candidate will design, develop, test and document Windows-based applications for various aircraft test and support equipment items. The qualified candidate will contribute to the development of instrument drivers, evaluation algorithms, Graphical User Interfaces, and self-test software. The qualified candidate will also interface with Systems and Hardware Engineering. A desire to work with hardware and knowledge of basic electrical hardware design is a plus. The qualified candidate will be involved in all phases of software development lifecycle including requirements definition, design, code, integration, and test.The position may require occasional travel domestically and/or internationally to perform lab and platform testing.Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and self-directed work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely (greater than 50% onsite).* Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship statusRequired Education, Experience, & Skills

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a computer related field with hardware related coursework or a demonstrated interest in hardware through robotics or embedded computing knowledge.
• 2+ years of software development experience including design testing and verification experience.
• Software design, and development experience using C/C++
• Use of common lab equipment/good background in performing and documenting lab work
• Experience reading wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions to assist in software/hardware debug, applying knowledge of electronic theory and componentsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Graphical User Interface design, including Windows FormsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
