Position Details:
Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Shift: Day shift. Some non-traditional hours may be necessary.
Compensation: $35hr
Benefits: Company Truck, Health, dental, vision, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k) match, tools, company cell phone, company computer and company vehicle. Quarterly bonus up to 6%, Daily per diem while travelling, expenses/hotel covered.
Travel: 75% Travel: Travel is primarily in state/region with -3-4 overnights/week expected.

Position Description:
Installs, commissions, maintains, and provides training for various types of gas and oil production and processing equipment, including vapor recovery units, other rotary equipment, and ECD's & Burner Management systems. Will be responsible for assisting in aftermarket service sales and will have a key role in identifying new business. Ideal candidate understands the installation and repair of electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components on combustor packages, vapor recovery units, compression units, generator units, pump units, ignition systems and air fuel ration systems. Supports a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible

Requirements:
--- Experience in instrumentation, controls, and electrical field work.
--- Solid mechanical aptitude and understanding.
--- Customer Service and Interfacing is always important, proven sales and service experience.
--- Strong preference for prior Terminal/Oil & Gas or related degree/industry experience.
--- Experience/Familiarity with:
o Troubleshooting of electrical control panels, generator control panels, generators, and switchgears.
o Inspect existing control panels to insure proper function and application.
o Installation and startup of equipment.
