Our dynamic construction company is looking for an experienced construction superintendent to plan and manage our projects. You'll be in charge of managing general contractors, hiring subcontractors, and maintaining safety and compliance at the construction site. We are looking for someone with 5 years of construction field experience in managing multi-family projects and a passion for managing others. Responsibilities:

--- Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily
--- Analyze subcontractor productivity toward timelines and performance goals to ensure that the project is on schedule to be finished on budget and to the highest possible quality
--- Employ subcontractors and ensure they have all of the necessary permits
--- Begin preparing a formal plan for homeowners that has a cost estimate for the job
--- Consult with the project's stakeholders to ensure that the project remains within budget
--- Minimize injuries and delays on building projects by requiring complete attention to health and safety standards, and report any issues to the project manager when they occur
--- Maintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeowner


Qualifications:

--- Minimum 5 years work experience as a general contractor needed, with additional management experience being preferred
--- Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
--- General contractor's license required
--- OSHA 30 certification and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
--- Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office
--- Excellent leadership, time-management, organizational, and communication skills
--- Physical stamina to lift at least 40 lbs and use heavy equipment
--- Must have a high school diploma, bachelor's degree is preferred for this role
--- Have experience in Procore software, preference will be provided if the candidate has certifications in Procore
