Job Description:

Mechanical Test Technician -
Salary: $23.00/hr.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Location: La Verne, CA
We are seeking a skilled technician to perform mechanical testing and equipment setup in our facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical testing, a strong understanding of schematics, and the ability to operate shop tools efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform leakage tests following company procedures
• Set up and analyze results using XY recorders and graphing tools
• Utilize specialized equipment such as graduated cylinders, lock wire, and potting materials
• Operate various shop equipment, including grinders, torque wrenches, and precision tools
• Work with dial indicators, trim grinders, and OD laps for precise adjustments
• Read and follow schematics and blueprints for fixture plumbing setups
• Maintain and calibrate pressure gauges to ensure optimal performance
• Identify and prevent contamination by recognizing different oils and elastomersQualifications:
  • Proven mechanical experience
  • Prior experience with mechanical testing procedures
  • Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints
  • Skilled in operating shop equipment such as grinders and torque wrenches
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and testing analysis
